This section of the site is dedicated to teaching basic geography through a series of simple quizzes. In due course it will also include quizzes on the major constellations, basic anatomy, and even perhaps the periodic table. Sadly, I am a poor student and not a professional web designer, which is why there are still a few things that need to be ironed out.
(1) The "Pause" button does not work yet on any of the quizzes while the "Forfeit" button only shows items missed and does not stop the timer. The world countries and world capitals quizzes both need some polishing, and the Astronomy and Anatomy quizzes are still only ideas. At the moment, they do little more than prevent the site from looking empty up top.
(2) Once time runs out in the Geography quizzes, a list of missed responses shows up beside the entry box. Depending on your results, you may or may not be able to see all the corrections. For now, you can get around this bug by double-clicking anywhere within the answer key, copying it, and then pasting it into your favourite word processor. Multiple entries for some countries may appear, even if that country was already successfully entered (eg: "USA", "U.S.A.", "United States of America"); a bug resulting from the site accepting alternate spellings.
(3) Maps were made through endless hours of back-breaking, posture-destroying, pixel-by-pixel labour spotted with frequent visits to the optometrist. I did my best to preserve both respective size and distance—i.e. Greenland isn't as big as Africa and Russia isn't all squished up at the top—but it's still far from perfect. In a similar vein, continents, countries, states, and capitals are chosen on the best available data. If you have a better source, please email me. Otherwise, things remain as they are.
If you find a bug not mentioned here, please email me and I'll try to fix it quickly. Have fun!
